21.2.06 I try to have a few birds visible in the last frame of the day. Today long-tailed tits were about. Suddenly a male sparrow hawk appeared. Shame he didn’t duck, then we would have seen his head!

18.2.06 I really enjoy the goldfinches. Most days there are at least 50 here consuming 3 pints of sunflower hearts! I just wish I could show them all at the same time.
